A Week in the Sun: Spring Break Week 1

I left for Spring Break on Friday the 7th and spent the night in Paris with Alyssa.
We went to a club that is very bourgeoisie club. It was fun!
The next day, I made my way to Beauvais, which is always a treat.
I landed in Madrid at 7pm, and I was supposed to take an 8pm bus. But I couldn't take it without purchasing a ticket in advance, and so I had to navigate the Madrid metro system. Luckily my friend Emily had described it pretty well.
But I got on a 10pm bus to Sevilla and got there at 4am.
We woke up 2 hours later and took a 7am bus to Lagos, Portugal which is beautiful.

Lagos, Portugal
We were only in Lagos for 1 full day, which we spent at the beach, which was amazing, but also why I don't have many photos.

Sevilla, Spain
We then returned to Sevilla and spent 2 and a half days there.

Day/ Side trip to Cordoba, Spain
The reason we went to Cordoba was to see the Mezquita, which I learned about in Art History in High School. It's a mosque that had a cathedral built into the middle of it.

If you stood in that dome and talked, you could be heard by everyone in the mosque, but the building of the cathedral stopped that from working.

FLAMENCO SHOW in Sevilla:

Granada, Spain:
We took a bus to Granada, and had an appoint at the Alhambra at 5, and after having to change hostels, and running up a giant hill, we made it!
The Alhambra was the last moorish fort in Spain, that was conquered by Ferdinand and Isabel ( I also learned that they are pretty much unknown to anyone but the Spanish and Americans...)
